chapter one
A childhood among weavers
Arya grew up around weaver communities, watching cloth become something before it became clothing. Her mother's side carried the lineage; the looms carried the rest. Long before there was a label, there was a habit of noticing how things are made.

Carnegie Hall, alone on stage
A solo Bharatanatyam performance, in front of a room that had no reason to be kind. Classical dance teaches rhythm, precision, and the discipline of repeating a thing until it looks effortless.
Every stitch in this house is repetition, held to the same standard.

Four overthinkers move in
Pippa, Puff, Pari and Pru arrived somewhere between a sketchbook and a joke that went too far — and stayed. The clothes started talking back. Constellations, puffer fish, stamps that used to be money.

how we make it
Sustainable is a word. Here's the practice.
It starts on a loom
Our base fabrics are woven on looms rather than pulled from a mill run. The cloth has a maker before the garment does.
100% hand embroidery
Every motif is worked by hand. No digitised machine files, no heat transfers, no shortcuts dressed up as craft.
Materials chosen carefully
We're deliberate about what goes into a piece, and we'd rather turn down a fabric than compromise on what it's made of.
Small runs, zero deadstock
We make a few of each thing and sell them. Nothing is overproduced, so nothing is written off, burned or buried.
